Assumptions behind the seed
- Monthly throughput per scenario: 352, 470 and 587 tonnes, from the three operating cases.
- Tires per tonne: 70, from a 60/40 passenger-to-truck mix by weight (9.5 kg and 55 kg a tire). Off-the-road tires excluded.
- Output split, a seed figure: rubber granules 58%, rubber powder 25%, recovered steel wire 17%.
- CO2e avoided: 2.5 tonnes per tonne processed against an open-burning baseline. A seed figure, to be replaced by a sourced factor.
- Demo loads estimate tires from weight (9.5 kg passenger, 55 kg truck). OTR loads count tonnes only.
